Before sending out the official information package with all information for you, we prepared a summary of the TC which helps you to start to select participants and plan your participation.
What is it?
Facilitation Academy vol.1. is a training course for youngsters who would like to discover and fulfil their abilities and learn new skills about facilitation, group leading, group dynamic processes. We will use the method of non-formal learning and learning by doing methods accompanied your personal contribution thus active participation is essential. Our main aim is to provide a chance for beginners to learn new things within a group where they can try everything out in the spot in relation of facilitation, group leading and group dynamic processes.
Objectives:
- empower participants to facilitate short period programmes (means few hours lasting workshops till one day programme) alone.
- to create a learning space together with participants which can be the safest space to try out different situation in facilitating.
- together with participants start to plan new projects ideas where they could use their new skills in action, prepared projects would be recommended to submit to national agencies.
Where?
In Hungary, around Budapest. We’re planning to find a new place because the original (190 km away from Budapest) spot would be not cost effective as the NA reduces the budget. The new spot will be finalized in February. We will be out from the city, as we prefer venues where not so much people are living but there’s more chance to plan outdoor activities too.
When?
2-8 May, 2015 travel days included!
Additional travel information for planning the trip: you should arrive to Budapest by 2 pm on 2nd May. As we need to leave together to the venue, shuttle bus will be organized from the meeting point. If you wish you can stay before/after the TC -/+ 2 days only, related costs need to be covered by you for the extra days.
for Whom?
4 participants/country from Latvia, Lithuania, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia and Hungary! In total 32 participants, but two support person and two trainers will be there too.
The expected profile of participants:
- between 16-25 years old
- have only basic or no experience in facilitation, group leading
- are interested about to learn things about the topic
- able to speak and work in English
Financial conditions
Thanks to the support of European Commission’s Erasmus+ Program all costs related to the training (accommodation and full board, travel and insurance). There’s a small participation fee (20€/participants) to contribute the training’s costs (materials, tools etc).
There’s a limited cost for travelling for each of you, depends on where you live. Tickets will be reimbursed at the spot, by providing original invoices and tickets to us. We are not able to buy tickets for any of you.
